E-learning is widespread among pharmacists who take part in the continuing education courses. The fast development of e-learning platforms which provide educational courses has been noted. There is a need of standardization and validation of distance learning courses, especially as they have started to be recognized and accredited by continuing pharmacy education centres, pharmaceutical societies, chambers or other institutions which supervise the continuing education process. The study is focused on exploring the transfer of skills related to the proper measurement of blood pressure by mechanical sphygmomanometer with aneroid manometer and stethoscope. The transfer of skills takes place in the research by two learning methods: e-learning and stationary course. Their effectiveness is compared to each other. The received p-value from the analysis of the precision of measurement in both groups is 0.9376. It is higher from the established statistical significance level 0.05. Therefore the hypothesis H0 is not excluded. The verified hypothesis H0 assumes that the difference between analyzed parameters from both samples is null:25 H0 : Ɵ 1 = Ɵ 2 There is not observed any difference in precision of measuring blood pressure between both groups with established statistical significance level 0.05. E-learning shows to be an effective tool not only in transferring knowledge but also in obtaining special skills needed for pharmacists in their daily work.

The study presents methodology and preliminary results of the research dealing with the topic of skill acquisition in basic school pupils. The work within this project is divided into several parts. First, the level of acquisition of the selected skills by the pupils (basic school, 6th class) was investigated using a specific didactic test. Within this test the most difficult tasks for the pupils were identified and the results between the groups of girls and boys were compared. Next, the process of skill acquisition was studied in detail. Using videostudies, i. e. the investigation of teaching based on analysis of video records, the author examined the role of the tasks in the process of skill acquisition. The videostudies involve 27 physics lessons, focused on the topic of Composition of forces.

This article presents research on skills development and workplace change complexities within two automotive assembly plants in Pretoria, South Africa. Auto assembly companies are also termed Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Since 1995, South African OEMs have become fully integrated into the global networks of their foreign parent companies. As South Africa’s leading manufacturing sector, the automotive industry’s increasing importance is reflected in its exports, investments, and contribution to the country’s gross domestic product. The two companies are global multinationals situated in one of South Africa’s most globally integrated sectors that have undergone significant mechanization and automation since the 1990s. Therefore, these companies present a relevant site for studying changes in the labor process and the tendencies of deskilling in these workplace environments. The research is based on a qualitative research design that used semi-structured interviews with workers, supervisors, and managers across two plants that assemble motor vehicles in South Africa. The objective of the research was to understand the nature of changes to workplace production methods that influence the character of skills amongst the workforce. This paper studies workers’ experiences on how changes in work processes have impacted their work skills and contributed to the processes of deskilling. Present studies of skills in South Africa have prioritized large-scale labor market aggregate data analysis or reforms in education and training policies of the state. This paper brings a perspective on the labor process changes that are informed by concrete analysis of the production process and how technological changes shape the character of skills formation within automotive assembly plants. The value of such an approach is that it brings to the discussion of technology and workplace change a more specific set of experiences that transcends the often speculative and mythical discussion about the impact of technology on work. This article highlights the importance of understanding workers’ voices, shift supervisors, and managers on the contested nature of skills development within capitalist enterprises. The findings illustrate the contradictory nature of technological change and skills development. This is shown by discussing the following themes that emerged from the findings: 1) worker responses to the introduction of robots in the workplace environment, 2) the deskilling challenge on the two plants, and 3) grappling with the turnover times of capitalist production. I conclude the paper by revisiting the key findings of the research and showing the implications for future studies of deskilling in contemporary capitalist enterprises. The significance of these findings ultimately points to the importance of locating labor processes and deskilling in the context of the political economy of the capitalist mode of production and how it is reshaping the content of work in modern automotive assembly plants.

We współczesnej gospodarce korporacje transnarodowe przodują zarówno w prowadzeniu prac badawczo-rozwojowych (B+R), jak i w procesie wdrażania i rozprzestrzeniania rozwiązań innowacyjnych.

This research is the product of a task related to the training and qualification of tribal people for social innovation and sustainability in the Amazon. It seeks to generate competencies and skills while preserving the culture and tradition of traditional peoples in the scenario of the Western Brazilian Amazon; as an effect, it is expected to construct multiplying talents among the peoples of the Amazon Forest through imaginary games, using also information and communication technology for development (ICT4D), if possible.. This work considers the reference of the Ashaninkas for elaborating sustainability concepts, which help improve the quality of life in the various Amazonian tribes. It is proposed to develop indigenous skills through correlation treatment. It is proposed the creation of a scenario, individual and group inclusion, survey of propositions, and monitoring of the development of these skillsusing ICT4D that should be consistent with the culture and tradition of those involved. As a result, it is concluded that the complexity of technical preparation is an innovation, given that there is no task like this published in the annals of events that deal with traditional peoples. However, the need for this task is entirely conceivable, given the accelerated development that oppresses the indigenous people and reduces their food availability. Worrisome; mining activities without strict supervision have contaminated the region's rivers with mercury, which is dangerous for aquatic life and for the indigenous people who feed on these free lives. It is possible to admit a solution, and the workshop for constructing multiplier talents among tribal societies is one of the solutions. This work is of interest to public managers when creating government policies. It is also of interest to anthropologists, environmentalists, administrators, economists, sociologists, pedagogues, and others committed to this issue addressed here. This is yet another contribution from the academy to the solution in the mister

The aim of the article is to define common forms of mismatches employees qualifications and skills to labour market desires. Beveridge’s studies, ManPowerGroup and Hays Global Index research shows that after year 2013 mismatches on Polish market are growing and has structural character. A good match in terms of educational qualifications does not imply that individuals possess the skills that are required by their jobs, or that skill mismatches will not materialise over time due to insufficient training, skills obsolescence or emerging job requirements.
