Paper presents a review of the opinions of inquired farmers' advisers on the area of Kujawsko-Pomorski region, concerning the sustainable development of agriculture. The members of local Agricultural Advisory Centers' staff are employed, according to the character of their activities, close by the problems connected with development of farms and rural areas. Thus, they have become familiar with the and chances and possibilities of spreading the ideas of sustainable agriculture. Realization of this concept will need an intensified effort and a serious financial support. However, the most of advisers notice that the rules of the of Good Farming Practice Code are hardly obeyed or not obeyed at all. According to the respondents' opinion it is mainly due to fact that these rules are not obligatory tobe complied with as well as to the shortage of financial means for meeting the requirements. Another important problem consists in insufficient knowledge of rural population in this particular field.
