Several species of weevils from the Bieszczady Mts. are recorded for the first time from the area. Among them Larinus obtusus and Lixus bardanae are the most interesting. 266 species of weevils have been recorded so far from the Bieszczady Mts.

Faunistic information on rare and locally occurring members of the genus Lixus FABR. in Poland is given: L. angustus (HERBST), L. albomarginatus BOH., L. algirus (L.), L. bardanae (FABR.), L. cylindrus (FABR.), L. elongatus (GOEZE), L. iridis OLIV., L. myagri OLIV., L. paraplecticus (L.) and L. punctiventris BOH.
