During the Paris Peace Conference in 1919 the Polish National Committee represented by Roman Dmowski was completed with the group of experts of the Office of Congress Work, among whom Stanislaw Kutrzeba played a significant role. He was a specialist in the field of international law, vindication of archives, libraries and other collections captured by invaders. He elaborated a memorial dedicated to the Eastern frontier. Furthermore, he was an author of the project of the union between Poland and Lithuania and a brochure devoted to the Jewish issue in Poland where he presented the history of Jews from the Middle Ages to his times. However, he played a more important political role six years later as the Chairman of the Polish delegation which led to concluding the so called liquidation treaty with Czechoslovakia.
