In the paper employment a investment forecasting has been made in general - for socialized Kraków agglomeration and sectionally for, seven selected branches of national economy as well as industrial and construction production for the year 1980. Forecasting of studied variables has been determined on the basis of progress tendencies models, recursive models and simultaneous equation models. 900 trend functions have been studied and estimated choosing the optimal trend approximates on the basis of which prognoses for 1980 have been made. Basing on error analysis of ex post prognoses the choice of optimal length of time series in development studies of Krakow has been determined for 15-20 years. The period 1961-1975 has been used for further investigations in building forecasting of studied variables on the basis of descriptive models. Several variants of employment, investment and production forecasting have been constructed for the year 1980 and next compared with the values of social and economic development plan of Krakow for this year. The influence of infrastructure on local and regional development is plain. Similarly, the local development determines the development of infrastructure. In the paper there is presented the influence of infrastructure on local development, particularly there is showed the meaning of infrastructure in the commune development and as well the activities of local authority in the development of infrastructure. Infrastructure is the most important instrument of influence of local policy on economic processes, because it is adapted to the needs of the user of commune. It also creates the chances for its dynamics and development. The size and speed of local development depend on the skills of local (commune) management and the skills of gaining founds for the infrastructure. (original abstract)

Multifunctional development of thr rural areas is strongly dependent on the development of enterprise which, in turn, enables further management activities and therefore provides the farmers with additional workplaces and incomes. To this end establishement of infrastructureon the rural areas which fulfils the requirements of rational concentration seems to be indispensable. The work presents an attempt to determine the relation between some elements of technological, social and economic infrastructure and the units registered generally in region system and in a private sector. It also takes into consideration different kinds of activity: production, building, commerce, services, transport, storage and communication. Analysis involved the years 1996 and 1999. The research analysis of technical-economic and social structures in aspect as an important factor influencing the life level and working conditions of the farmers have been presented in this article. The divagations concern mainly the equipment to be indispensable to satisfy the existence needs of the rural area inhabitants and to ensure them the adequate level of working conditions both in agriculture and in non-agriculture jobs. The efficiently functioning infrastructure and adequate level of the equipment in its specific elements implies not only the development of industrial activity and labour efficiency in rural area, but definitely improves the health condition of the farmers and of their families. Przeprowadzono analizę tempa rozwoju infrastruktury w gminie wiejskiej - Zielonki w latach 1995-2005. Wyznaczono wskaźniki nasycenia elementami infrastruktury oraz dynamikę i średnie tempo zachodzących zmian. Na podstawie przeprowadzonej analizy wykazano dużą nierównomierność i zróżnicowanie w poziomie rozwoju badanych elementów infrastruktury. W badanym okresie nastąpił znaczny rozwój infrastruktury w zakresie ochrony środowiska - budowa kanalizacji sanitarnej i oczyszczalni, na którą gmina przeznacza okoli 40% budżetu. Rozwija się również sektor dotyczący oświaty i wychowania, jak również opieki zdrowotnej. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The paper presents the analysis of development of infrastructure in Zielonki community. Quoted the following elements of social infrastructure: education and breeding, medical welfare and social assistance, culture, sport, tourism and recreation, and also quoted the following elements of technical and economical infrastructure: transport, energetic and gas-works, telecommunication, water and wastewater management. The researches based on statistical data collected by the branch of Central Statistical Office in Krakow. The analysis showed quite big diversification in the level of infrastructure element's development. We showed that in the examined period one could observe huge development of infrastructure especially for environment protection - sewerage system and wastewater treatment plant, which cost 40% of commune's budget. We observe also development of education and medical welfare. (original abstract)

The systematic increase in the potential of the organic farms in Poland should be considered as positive and desired direction of agriculture development, due to the numerous environmental, economic and social benefits, as well as compliance with the future model of agriculture, based on renewable resources and environmental-friendly and social development of rural areas. W artykule omówiono zmiany wyposażenia infrastrukturalnego obszarów wiejskich położonych na terenach byłych województw sudeckich Dolnego Śląska w latach 1996-1999. W badaniach uwzględniono elementy infrastruktury technicznej, społecznej i ekonomicznej. Wykazano zmniejszenie się liczby elementów infrastruktury uzależnionych od rozwoju rolnictwa i produkcji rolniczej na tym terenie, która przestała być wiodącym kierunkiem rozwoju tych obszarów.

The level of infrastructural development plays an essential role in the process of multifunctional development of the rural areas and significantly affects the life standard of the inhabitants. The paper presents the changes in infrastructural outfit of the rural areas situated in the region of the former of Sudety Voivodships of the Lower Silesian region in the years 1996-1999. In the researches elements of technical, social, and economical infrastructure were taken into consideration. Estimation has been based on the number of chosen elements in relation to 100 km² areas. Gmina w ujęciu statystycznym jest obiektem ekonomicznym wielowymiarowym. Oznacza to, że do jego opisu konieczne jest zastosowanie dużej liczby cech. Cechy te charakteryzują różne procesy i zjawiska ekonomiczno-społeczne, które zachodzą w gminie. Wśród tych procesów podstawowe znaczenie ma sprawność ekonomiczna i infrastruktura społeczno-techniczna, charakteryzują one bowiem gminny potencjał społeczno-ekonomiczny. Ze statystycznego punktu widzenia sprawność ekonomiczna regionu i infrastruktura społeczno-techniczna są zjawiskami złożonymi, do analizy można więc zastosować metody taksonomiczne. Wydaje się, że szczególnie przydatne mogą się tu okazać tzw. taksonomiczne mierniki rozwoju (w skrócie TMR). Bazą dla prezentowanej w pracy analizy sprawności społeczno-ekonomicznej gmin oraz stanu ich infrastruktury jest system informacji dotyczących różnych aspektów badanych zjawisk złożonych, zawarty w Banku Danych Regionalnych (BDR) na rok 1999. The paper sets out offer an assessment of gminas' socio-economic potential by means of a synthetic variable. Gminas'socio-economic efficiency and their current infrastructure was analysed on the basis of The Regional Data Bank (Bank Danych Regionalnych), which contains information on various aspects of the complex phenomena the present research focused on. Since the data reflect the state existing in 1999, their quality determines the accuracy of the analysis in question. The following diagnostic variables were taken into consideration in order to describe gminas' social and technical infrastructure: the material resources, the effectiveness of a given section of the infrastructure and the extent to which it satisfies the needs of gmina's inhabitants. Gmina's economic efficiency was determined on the basis of: the effectiveness of generating gmina's revenue and its spending and economic activity of the gmina's population. The synthetic variable was constructed separately for three homogenous types of gminas (urban, rural and mixed). (original abstract)

The article examines an influence infrastructural innovations on increasing location attractiveness and development of entrepreneurship.
