Autor przedstawia charakterystykę struktury i sposobu funkcjonowania obligacji indeksowanych. Dokonał też porównania opłacalności dwu konkurencyjnych względem nich narzędzi: obligacji prostej i certyfikatu indeksowego. Porównanie to wskazało na element przewagi obligacji indeksowej, będącej hybrydą obligacji prostej o relatywnie niskim kuponie odsetkowym i dwóch opcji finansowych, których połączenie tworzy systematyczną strategię bull call spread. Z kolei wycena obligacji indeksowej jest możliwa poprzez duplikację struktury płatności tych instrumentów. (fragment tekstu)

The main aim of this article is to characterize the structure and the way of functioning of indexed bond and to mąkę a comparison between the ratę of return on this bond and two other investments such as straight bond and indexed certificate. If we compare these three instruments, in opposition to straight bond and indexed bond, the total loss on invested capital is possible in the case of indexed certificate. What is morę there exists a limita-tion of the ratę of return from the top in the case of investment in both kinds of presented bonds but there is no such restriction in the case of indexed certificate. Indexed bond as a structured instrument is a mix of straight bond of Iow interest coupon and two financial options. By combining these two components the investor can built the bull-call spread strategy. The evaluation of indexed bond is possible by means of duplication of payment structure of these instruments.
