The article presents the results of a study of current trends operation of industrial enterprises in Ukraine. There are high degree of dependence on foreign trade situation, the low level of production equipment and the demand for domestic products. It proves the relevance of the strategy of import substitution. The authors present this strategy as an opportunity to enhance the image of Ukrainian industrial machine-building enterprises in international markets over the coming decade. (original abstract)

Badania przedstawione w artykule są poświęcone problemom substytucji importu i bezpieczeństwu żywnościowemu w obwodzie Kaliningradzkim. W artykule rozpatruje się stan i status rozwoju systemu rolnictwa w regionie, przy wykorzystaniu analizy rozwidlonej. Analiza dotyczy problematycznych zagadnień i bieżącego kryzysu w rosyjskim systemie rolniczo-przemysłowym. Badania prowadzone są w celu zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa żywnościowego w Kaliningradzie. W artykule analizie i ocenie poddano także źródła ryzyka związane z analizowanym problemem. Opracowano także model procesu rolniczego w celu uproszczenia prowadzonych rozważań.(abstrakt oryginalny)

This research project is devoted to the urgent problems of import substitution and food security in the Russian exclave (Kaliningrad region). It examines the stages and status of the development of the agriculture system in the region using a bifurcation analysis. This analysis reflects problematic zones, and the current crisis conditions of the (Russian) agro-industrial system. In an attempt to ensure food security, the research addresses the development and procedures of the agricultural sector in Kaliningrad. The development risks of the enterprises dealing with agriculture were evaluated and possible ways of development were offered and estimated. Prior to this study, the business-process of agriculture was created, thereby making the examination process on this topic easier.(original abstract)

W artykule poruszono problematykę charakteru i cech polityki substytucji importu na rynku farmaceutycznym. Wskazano zalety i wady wdrożenia tego rozwiązania. Przeanalizowano zagraniczne doświadczenia w tym zakresie. Artykuł pokazuje proces integracji zamówień publicznych leków na podstawie wszystkich modeli interakcji, w których państwo występuje jako dostawca i odbiorca produktów/usług. Zidentyfikowano także zastosowanie skomplikowanych technologii informacyjnych zaawansowanego marketingu i technologii logistycznych wspierających ten proces. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The article deals with the nature and characteristics of import substitution policy in the pharmaceutical market. It displays advantages and disadvantages of implementation of import substitution. The foreign experience of state regulation of the pharmaceutical industry is analyzed in the application of the policy of import substitution. It shows integration process of public procurement of medicines on the basis of all models of interaction, in which the state acts as the provider and the recipient of products / services. The application of advanced information and advanced marketing and logistics technologies in supporting this process is identified. (original abstract)

Scharakteryzował również główne strategie industrializacji w krajach rozwijających się, z uwzględnieniem zastosowania tych lub podobnych strategii w krajach wysoko uprzemysłowionych.

The paper is the effect of deliberations concerning the problems of structural changes in industry, processes of industrialization, processes of development, and economic growth. The problem presented in the title of the paper is of special importance. Because of its significance it has been a subject of many authors' studies for years. The paper is composed of three parts connected with one another by the main purpose presented in the title. Part one deals with the industrial activity and its relation to the economic development, mainly in the countries of the so-called South, that is the developing countries. Fart two of the paper concerns the purposes of industrialization in the process of economic development. Part three, the last one, comprises a short characterization of the main strategies of industrialization in developing countries, paying regard to the application of the same or similar strategies of industrialization as in industrialized countries.
