In this article discusses economic analysis of impact caused by the im-plementation of regulations passed by the European Union institutions. Properly prepared analysis allows decision makers to adopt such a legal solution that will have the best consequences for the society, economy, and environment. However, the precise analysis at the level of the European Union is not easy, yet extremely necessary due to interference with the operation of 28 different entities. The paper is an analysis of the methods and economic tools used in the preparation of Impact Assessment. This article includes an analysis of a few selected regulations at an angle of detail, reliability studies and indicate the scale of the problem in all countries, and the costs that must be borne by specific entities in the case of the implementation of the solution.
