OGFP is very important for the proper functioning of farms. Farmers who obey its requirements can obtain subsidies from commune, what is really beneficial for them. One of the main causes why OGFP is introduced is caring for the environment and protecting nature. Nowadays, the main goal in agriculture is not just improving the economic effectiveness, but first of all gaining healthy high-quality products and caring for agricultural production space. OGFP is worked out by every member country of the EU within the framework of their plans about development of country areas which are in accordance with law in given country. In case when someone breaks the law, the Agency of Farms Modernization and Restructuring will be informed because it is a control organ for OGFP. OGFP orders farmers to obey rules in Poland connected with environmental protection: using and safekeeping of fertilizers; using sewage in farms; using municipal sewage in farms; using environmental protection products; grassland management; keeping cleanliness and order on farms; habitats protection; soils protection; water resources protection. The above short profile shows how important these requirements are and what should be done to satisfy the requirements. OGFP plays two functions, on the one hand, takes care of security in management of farms which are free of pollution and contamination what as a result gives us healthy food. On the other hand, it contributes to environmental, animals and rural areas protection. (original abstract)
