A review of a book that deals with keywords in library practice. The return of keywords into library environment has caused many theoretical and practical problems. These issues include effectiveness of keyword use in labelling and retrieving information as well as their relation to different classic keyword languages and the natural language. The book presents a thorough introduction to keyword theory and practice as well as the author's opinions and reflections on the subject. Some important research questions, e. g. regarding the future of information retrieval languages, have also been asked.
