New records of Micrambe abietis, M. bimaculata and M. villosa are given. M. longitarsis, collected in the Białowieża Primeval Forest, is new to the fauna of Poland.
New distributional records of seven genera and fifteen species of Caenoscelini and Cryptophagini in Poland are presented. Caenoscelis sibirica, C. subdeplanata and Sternodea baudii are among the most interesting cryptophagids recently found in new localities and previously reported from 1-2 sites in Poland only. Remarks concerning identification of Caenoscelis species are given, and the aedeagi of C. sibirica and C. ferruginea are illustrated.
New records of 51 species of Polish Cryptophagidae are given. Atomaria badia Er. A. bescidica Reitt., and Ephistemus reitteri Casey are new to the Polish fauna.
New records of 58 species of Cryptophagidae are given. A. abietina REITT. and A. bella REITT. (Puszcza Białowieska), A. lohsei JOHNS. & STRAND (Nizina Wielkopolsko-Kujawska), A. punctithorax REITT. (Nizina Wielkopolsko-Kujawska, Nizina Mazowiecka, Beskid Zachodni), Cryptophagus parallelus BRIS. (Nizina Wielkopolsko-Kujawska) and Cryptophagus micaceus REY (Puszcza Białowieska) are new to the fauna of Poland.
23 beetle species are presented as new for the fauna of the Polish part of the Bieszczady Mts. The beetles belonged to seven families: Carabidae, Staphylinidae, Scirtidae, Cryptophagidae, Coccinellidae, Oedemeridae and Chrysomelidae. Three of them: Amara nigricornis, Amara pulpani and Atheta heymesi, were recorded for the first time in Poland.
The paper contains summarised data on insect 204 species of 6 orders and 50 families, published in Wiadomości Entomologiczne as new for the fauna of Poland, during last 10 years (volumes IX XVIII). The most numerous species were recorded within Coleoptera, families: Staphylinidae (46), Lathridiidae (14), Cryptophagidae (12) and Lepidoptera, families: Geometridae (7), Noctuidae (7) and Gelechiidae (5).
The article presents new distributional data on rare and endangered beetles of 18 families (Sphaeriusidae, Histeridae, Leiodidae, Silphidae, Staphylinidae, Scarabaeidae, Byrrhidae, Limnichidae, Elateridae, Cryptophagidae, Coccinellidae, Zopheridae, Tenebrionidae, Pyrochroidae, Anthicidae, Dryophthoridae, Erirhinidae and Curculionidae) in Rogalin Landscape Park with notes on their biology. The presence of Corticeus bicoloroides in Poland is confirmed with new findings. The importance of Rogalin Landscape Park for protecting beetle species diversity is discussed.
