By a biogas plant inyestment in an agricultural enterprise it may come to changes of the whole-operational yield/risk relation. This article examines the potential influence of a biogas plant on this relation. For this purpose, first the maximum possible risk reduction of a biogas plant in connection with different agricultural business branches is ascertained by means of minimum-variance-port-folios. Furthermore, this contribution examines the efficiency of a whole-operational yield change by a biogas plant inyestment depending on different business portfolios. From the combination of a biogas plant with different business branches it has turned out that all variations show a minimum yariance portfolio and are therefore basically suitable for risk reduction. The calculation of the efficiency of the yield change shows considerable differences for the business portfolios examined. It is pointed up which business branches and business portfolios are suited more or less for an inyestment in a biogas plant in view of the risk. (original abstract)

Financial and infrastructural conditions of development of agricultural business. Agricultural business development is influeneed by financial factors and the level of infrastructure. Very important role in it have preferential credits. Preferential credits are issued with the help of broker Agency Restructurization and Modernization the Agriculture, which partly finances the interestrates. Credit are most cases given to young farmers, who need funds for increasting or equiping the farm. To make the agricultural business develop, financial help from the central or regional budget is necessary. There is a need for much higher amount of money (than it is today) that could be given to farmers in the from of preferential credits.(original abstract)

Autorka przedstawiła wielkości i strukturę wewnętrzną potencjału produkcyjnego oraz wyniki produkcyjne i dochodowe agrobiznesu w Polsce w latach 1995-2006. Zdaniem autorki, przemiany struktury agrobiznesu przebiegają w pożądanym kierunku, maleje znaczenie rolnictwa, natomiast wzrasta - przemysłu spożywczego i przemysłów wytwarzających środki produkcji i usługi. Zmiany te jednak są dość powolne. Systematycznie maleje udział agrobiznesu w gospodarce narodowej, jednak nie maleją na ogół bezwzględne rozmiary produkcji i dochodów agrobiznesu. Sektor ten pozostaje w dalszym ciągu jednym z największych subsystemów gospodarki narodowej.

The aim of the article was to present the volume and the structure of production potential, as well as production and income results in agribusiness in Poland in years 1995-2006. The agribusiness structure changes in desirable pattern, the importance of agriculture is decreasing, while the importance of agri -food industry and means of production industries and services is constantly increasing. However, the changes of the agribusiness structure are relatively slow. The share of agribusiness in Polish economy is decreasing, although it still remains one of its biggest subsystems.(original abstract)

The objective of this paper is to assess the effects of formation of the new institutional environment in the agro-industrial complex of Russia. It contains the results of the poll among the leaders of 34 food processing enterprises, mostly small diversified companies, and 120 agricultural enterprises of various ownership forms. The research was performed in the context of basic commodity markets, as their specific features determine both the structure of the market and the companies' development strategies. The results of the poll state that producers already perform in competitive environment using various methods of competitive activities. Autor przedstawia czteroelementowy układ struktury wielofunkcyjnego gospodarstwa rolniczego (rodzina, gospodarstwo rolne, gospodarstwo domowe, przedsiębiorstwo) oraz interakcje i reakcje zachodzące między nimi, z uwzględnieniem wpływu sił rynkowych na zmiany w funkcjach pełnionych przez gospodarstwa. Autor stwierdza, że nowe podejście do funkcji pełnionych przez gospodarstwa powoduje coraz większe osłabienie powiązań gospodarstwa rolnego z gospodarstwem domowym i coraz silniejsze pojawianie się funkcji pozarolniczej. Jest to pozytywny proces, pozwalający poprawiać sytuację ekonomiczną coraz większej części gospodarstw.

Taking of non agriculture enterprising initiatives in country environments was recognised behind special and unique chance, in situation of non-profitable of agriculture. On this background, figure of businessman was considered, as main factor of enterprise, perceived as evolutionary process, speeded in time. From attitudes of businessmen and proper relations of them with own firms and different participants of market depends success of taken initiatives. Multivarianting of enterprise development in agribusiness caused, that her kinds were systematized, considered different criteria. Onto end it was recognised, that because desirable transformations on rural areas can not execute themselves thanks exclusively strengths and resources of occupants of village, need of stimulating and inspiring of enterprise development. It proves practician yet, that formation enterprising and promarketing attitudes of occupants of village it is fold problem, mainly in view of domination of tradition above modernity. Integration of Poland with European Union changed conditions of functioning of agriculture and his environment, opening also new possibility of development for rural cooperatives. In this context the subject of the study is characterized of state of rural cooperatives in European Union as well as meanings of cooperatives for economy, and especially for food’s sector. On this background transformation and present condition of rural cooperatives in Poland were shown. Analysis of main directions of transformation rural cooperatives in old members’ of EU was made also, because after integration, agribusiness cooperatives in Poland will go similar way also. Results of analysis show, that the most important transformations of cooperatives this are consolidation and commercialization processes as well as expansion of range and scale of economic activity of cooperatives.(original abstract)
