The changes occurring in the environment break the company's both internal and external balance. In order to achieve and maintain its competitive advantage the company must adjust to the environment requirements. It can be attained by means of restructuring processes. The restructuring processes can be carried out as a part of other activities, such as lean management, outsourcing, controlling, reengineering, spin off or benchmarking. All of them form a family of new management concepts.
