Field Emission Electric Propulsion (KEEP) is an enabling technology for fundamental science space missions. The FEEP-150 cesium micropropulsion unit is presently under development and qualification at Alta in the framework of ESA activities, aimed at the LISA Pathfinder and Microscope science missions. After successful demonstration of the required performance, the thruster industrialization phase is presently ongoing with the scope of establishing a manufacturing process capable of delivering highly dependable units. This paper presents the recent results in this direction as well as an overview of the main programme milestones achieved so far.
