The article presents theories connected with a model as a tool in economic analysis (mainly financial analysis). It considers the requirements the model should fulfil in order to be useful in diagnosis, forecaste and simulations. The author describes different models of profit and loss account base on data collected in six (describes only two - more details in article) the most important companies in the cables industry. In this models author tried presents simple relation beetwen EBIT and Net income with another measures.

The effect of a zero bound in nominal interest rates is one of the challenges that low inflation poses for monetary policy. The central bank is unable to enforce the lowering of the real interest rates, which is necessary if a country is to combat recession, when the nominal interest rates are already very low. The simplest method to avoid the problems caused by the existence of zero bound on nominal interest rates is the maintenance of low inflation rate (2 to 3 %) and its stabilization in the vicinity of inflation target. The central bank should take good care to ensure that the monetary policy guarantees continuation and transparency. In case the zero bound effect takes place, the central bank can resort to apply a wide variety of non-standard instruments. Efficacy of these instruments depends strongly on recession causes and on the specificity of a given economy. It may turn out that negative effects of certain instruments might overshadow the expected benefits.

Powszechność w budownictwie stali, jako materiału konstrukcyjnego, przy jej jednoczesnej podatności na korozję wymusza opracowywanie i stosowanie metod oraz procedur diagnostycznych, pozwalających na możliwie jak najwcześniejsze wykrycie i zlokalizowanie ognisk korozji. Obok szeregu dobrze znanych i skutecznych na tym polu badań metod nieniszczących (ang. Non Destructive Testing, NDT), jak badania ultradźwiękowe, rentgenografia, badania penetracyjne, czy też ocena wizualna, co raz większe uznanie zyskuje termografia aktywna. W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań laboratoryjnych, których celem było określenie skuteczności metody termografii aktywnej w detekcji i lokalizacji korozji i innych wad powierzchni elementów stalowych. Przeprowadzono pomiary na próbkach laboratoryjnych w postaci blachy stalowej, o powierzchni zarówno nie malowanej, jak i pokrytej zróżnicowanymi powłokami. Przeanalizowano szereg zaburzenia w postaci korozji, otworu wypełnionego masą szpachlową, wżerów, zabrudzenia klejem epoksydowym. Pomiary wykonano z wykorzystaniem wymuszenia w postaci lampy halogenowej oraz głowicy generującej prądy wirowe. Przeanalizowano zróżnicowane czasy wymuszenia i rejestracji odpowiedzi analizowanych próbek laboratoryjnych. Zarejestrowane sekwencje termogramów podlegały przetwarzaniu poprzez wyznaczenie funkcji aproksymujących o zróżnicowanych parametrach. Uzyskane wyniki przedstawiono w postaci map wartości, określonych współczynników funkcji aproksymujących.

The commonality of steel as a structural material, with its simultaneous corrosion susceptibility, require the development and application of diagnostic methods and procedures to detect and locate corrosion at the earliest stage. Apart from a number of well known and effective nondestructive testing (NDT) such as ultrasound, penetration method or visual assessment, active thermography is becoming increasingly popular. The paper presents the results of laboratory tests aimed at determining the effectiveness of the active thermography method in the detection and localization of corrosion and other defects in the surface of steel elements. Measurements were made on laboratory specimens in the form of sheet steel, both unpainted and covered with varied coatings. A number of defects in form of corrosion, holes filled, pitting, dirt with epoxy adhesive were analyzed. The measurements were made using the halogen lamp and the eddy currents generator. Varies times of excitation and measurements were analyzed. Recorded sequences of thermograms were processed by assigning approximation functions with different parameters. The obtained results are presented in the form of maps of values, certain approximation coefficients.

Jednym z takich rozwiązań, o którym traktuje niniejsza praca jest wykorzystanie rozwiązania Internet of Things w usprawnianiu funkcjonowania systemów logistycznych w zarządzaniu kryzysowym. Rozważany jest ten aspekt w odniesieniu do szerszej perspektywy, jaką są systemy zarządzania kryzysowego. Rozwiązanie to posiada zarówno wady, jak i zalety, które są także przedmiotem dyskusji w tym artykule.

The paper depicts the hardware solution proposal, which enables the assessment of the regularity of human posture. The measurement relies on the determination of chest kyphosis angle (P2) and lumbar lordosis angle (P3). The paper depicts the hardware solution proposal, which enables the assessment of the lower limbs mobility. The research was founded on the localization of the critical lower limb articulations after fulfillment of the specific model-based movement. KINECT controller in Kinect version for Windows and PC computer were used in the research. The examination relied on basic, widely available Kinect SDK software.

This paper presents an application of non-destructive damage detection method based on structural wave propagation phenomenon. A set of laboratory experiments on aluminium strip was carried out. Several failure cases were introduce into the laboratory model. Elastic wave was actuated and received by piezoelements. Recorded signals were processed using wavelet analysis. Obtained signal parameters were used as an input vector of artificial neural networks. Several network architectures were tested.

Recent ab initio calculated potential energy data for the ground electronic state of HeH2(+) are used to construct a new potential function, which is suitable to describe the interaction between He and H2(+) at low collision energies. All bound and the lowest quasi-bound rotation-vibrational levels of HeH2(+) are evaluated within the framework of the Sutcliffe-Tennyson Hamiltonian for triatomic molecules neglecting Coriolis interactions between the states. Adiabatic separations of the vibrational motions are used to simply the calculation of the bound and quasi-bound levels close to the dissociation limit. Comparison with the results of full-dimensional calculations shows that a very good agreement is obtained when separating adiabatically the high-frequency H2(+) stretching motion from the remaining two low-frequency modes and that further separation of the low-frequency motions still provides useful approximations for the positions of the bound and lowest quasi-bouns states.

The paper presents an idea of elastic waves application in the field of structure test and health monitoring. Laboratory experiments were performed for several laboratory specimens made of various materials. In this paper strips elements and plates were analyzed. The main components of the used equipment and the laboratory setup were discussed. The obtained results of preliminary tests have shown that such the approach can be successfully used for the purpose of diagnosis systems since it provides good indication about damage appearance and predicts its size with reasonably well accuracy.
