After the end of World War I, after the plebiscite and the Silesian uprisings in Upper Silesia, the state borders were changed and also there was created a new territorial organization of the Catholic Church. In 1932, the diocese had 188 parish churches, including 13 temporary churches, branch churches and 133 chapels where services could be celebrated. The construction of churches also involves the issue of their equipment, therefore, with the establishment of a new diocese, a new stage in the history of organ building in its territory began. The article presents unrealized projects of organs in the churches of the pre-war Silesian diocese.
