In this paper an original algorithm for 3D automatically mesh generation for all configuration of a Solid Salient Poles Synchronous Motor (SSPSM) is presented. The proposed concept starts with curvilinear four sided prismatic macro-elements and finishes with triangular prismatic finite-elements. Later, this paper deals with modelling of three dimensional magnetic field, and it gives an opportunity for numerical computation and analysis of the electromagnetical and electromechanical characteristics of the motor, with rated data: 2.5 kW, 240 V, and 1500 r.p. m.
