The presented shell theory is developed from the basic equations of the theory of continua in convective description. In this material description the kinematic equations are simple and the kinetic variables are easily interpletable. Independent variables are the time-independent parameters (Phi x) of the material particles in a convective coordinate system and the time t. Consequently the shape of the parametric lines, the base vector system and the metric depend on location and time.

Przedstawiona w pracy teoria powłok została rozwinięta z podstawowych równań teorii kontinuum, stosując opis konwektywny. W tym opisie materiału równania kinematyczne są proste, a zmienne kinetyczne łatwe do zinterpretowania. Niezależnymi zmiennymi są niezależne od czasu parametry (Phi x) cząstek materialnych w konwektywnym systemie współrzędnych i w czasie t. W rezultacie, kształt linii parametrycznych, bazowy system wektorów i metryka są zależne od położenia i od czasu.
