Anonymous could call movement, activists, community or idea. They have no leader, no structure, yet have in the past influenced the decisions of thousands of people around the world. Media is often referred to as hackers, because the greatest attention they raise is their attacks, which are mainly fighting for freedom of the Internet or against various social phenomena. In addition to hackers, the movement itself creates, in addition to hackers, people who either share ideas of movement or use various programs to attack and shut down the servers of organizations, institutions, governments, or websites of various security agencies such as the FBI or the CIA.
In this article we survey the brief history of use of private military forces because historical context is crucial for understanding current discourse about the scope and possible utilization of PMCs in the future. Second part of this article offers definitions and basic typology of PMCs.
This article introduces the problem of privatization of security with focus on the role of Private Military Companies (PMCs). We present key arguments about the positive and negative aspects of the use of PMCs services as well as three plausible levels for regulation of PMCs activities. At the end we cover the current state of research of PMCs primarily focused on the analysis of the impacts of security privatization upon the national and international political system.
