Artykuł dotyczy idei Slow - idei zmniejszenia tempa życia. Spowolnienie to nie stanowi celu samego w sobie. Chodzi o to, żeby nabyć umiejętność wyboru tempa życia stosownego do potrzeb i konieczności codziennego życia. To dana osoba ma panować nad tym, jaki styl życia przyjmuje, ma działać świadomie i odpowiedzialnie, a nie powielać zachowania innych. Szczegolnie ważnym aspektem Slow jest zwrocenie uwagi na potrzebę zakorzenienia i znalezienia sensownego kontekstu życia. Przynależność i tożsamość ze światem, w ktorym się żyje oraz z jego dziedzictwem, głoszona w idei Slow rodzi też konotacje z ideologią ruchow ekologicznych określaną jako bioregionalizm. Autorka zauważa, że wiele jest w idei Slow pomysłow na realizację celu wzrostu jakości życia, co znajduje się u podstaw koncepcji rozwoju zrównoważonego.

The Slow philosophy and the life style stemming from it as well as specific kinds of production and consumption constitute a proposal which may be described as a life model corresponding to the demands of the philosophy of ecology and sustainable development. At the core of the Slow concept is the wish to preserve a high quality of life and consumption standards while resigning from the haste generated by civilization and homogeneous forms of consumption. The Slow Movement comprises a growing range of social behavior as well as available goods and services, from slow food, slow cities and travel to specific work and education models.

To implement the sustainable development principles, economists are required to make efforts towards building theoretical principles of sustainable development as well developing teaching methodologies of economy for sustainable development in which education concerning management of the nature capital seems to play a role of special importance. Teaching the economy of sustainable development includes also an important task of establishing the relations between the natural environment, the society and the economy as well as gaining the skills to implement this development concept.

The article contains a behavioural analysis of the aim-formulating stage of the project. The purpose of the article is to point out that in the process of formulating the aim of the project, it comes to such decision-making situations which favour heuristic thinking. The article presents the results of the secondary research. As a result of verified theory, according to which in the process of formulating the aim of the project, the interference in decision-making processes may occur on the part of the heuristics and the resulting cognitive biases.
