The visual systems are the most developing investment area in automation. The main use of its are inspection, diagnostics, testing and maintenance. In the paper the most important questions connecting with design and building of vision system for needs of check of assembly correctness of electromagnet unit components on example of washer position monitoring on shaft before casing foundation and the starting of kneading process are presented.
