A study was conducted on a group of 30 women in the age of 21-40 years suffering from vegetative neurosis. It was stated a lower level of magnesium and higher one of lead than in the control group. It was ascertained the mean correlation between calcium and magnesium levels (r = + 0,5) and the low negative correlation between the levels of magnesium and lead (r = - 0,22).

In a group of sound man in the age from 21 - 40 years hair analysis was conducted. The levels of lead and chromium were higher then the reference values. The levels of cadmium and lesd in blood serum were in norm in other groups. The calcium level was lower then the Polish norm in general.
