The music appears in public space is one of the important elements audio sphere of the city. In the relation to the other phonic elements (tones, sounds, noises) which create audio sphere stand out permanent and logically composed the structure of a sound results creating separation a whole – what Maciej Gołąb describes melosphere notion. The music in urban space performs different functions (publicity, recreation, signal), stand out on remark surplus value: artistic and aesthetic which concerns. Describe the music in space of the city is necessary pay attention on her connection with place, time and situation in which the music becomes. We should take into account on constant or accident her presents in audio sphere, and also her presents living or reproduction. Particular attention draws music connection with the city (bugle-call, folklore of the city) witch evidence about phonic identity of the city. Analysis of music in space of the city it’s not only records her presents but founds broad cultural interpretation, qualify functions and values music in the city and answers a question about phonic identity of the city also the music part in the process of making the space of the city their home.
