Meligethes jelineki AUDISIO is recorded for the first time from Poland. The beetle was found in Olmonty near Białystok (Podlasie). New localities of 18 species of Nitidulidae from Podlasie region are given.

Meligethes caudatus GUILLEBEAU, 1897 (Meligethinae) has been collected in the Karkonosze Mts., Carpophilus marginellus MOTSCHULSKY, 1858 (Carpophilinae) in Kościelna Wieś near Kalisz (Wielkopolsko-Kujawska Lowland). Both species are new to the Polish fauna.

Epuraea (Epuraea) muehli REITTER, 1908 has been collected in Wilga (Mazowiecka Lowland) and in Białowieża Primeval Forest. Meligethes matronalis AUDISIO et SPORNRAFT, 1990 was found in the Western Beskid, Mts. near reserve Na Policy. Both species are new to the Polish fauna. New localities of 1 species of Kateretidae and 35 species of Nitidulidae from Poland are given.

The state of knowledge on the sap beatles (Coleoptera: Kateretidae, Nitidulidae) of the Świętokrzyskie Mts. is presented. On the basis of data from references and gathered by authors 71 sap beetles species are listed, out of which 38 have not been reported previously.

Meligethes kraatzi REITTER, 1871 (Coleoptera: Nitidulidae: Meligethinae) which is new to the fauna of Poland, was repeatedly collected on two localities in eastern Poland (Dęblin, Białystok), which represent a considerable northerly extension of the range of this species.

Lobiopa insularis (CASTELNAU, 1840) was found on Canary Islands. It originates from the New World. The species is new to the Palaearctic fauna.

New records of 8 species of Dermestidae in Poland are presented. Dermestes bicolor, D. haemorrhoidalis and Trinodes hirtus are reported for the first time from Upper Silesia, Wielkopolska-Kujawy Lowland and Małopolska Upland respectively. Dermestes gyllenhalii is new to Pomeranian Lakeland.

New distributional records of 10 species of Dermestinae and Trinodinae in Poland, based on the author`s and contributor`s own data, are presented. Altogether the data comprise 188 localities, which cover 19 (out of 25) regions proposed in the Catalogue of Polish Fauna, and 146 UTM 10×10 km squares. Most of the species considered in this paper have been recorded for the first time from at least one region in the country. From the Świętokrzyskie Mts. the newly reported are Dermestes frischii, D. laniarius, D. undulatus and Trinodes hirtus. New to the Sandomierz Lowland are Dermestes bicolor, D. frischii and D. undulatus. Newly reported from the Eastern Sudety Mts. are D. lardarius and D. murinus. The following species respectively are new to the other five regions: D. ater to Lower Silesia, D. bicolor to Kraków-Wieluń Upland, D. lardarius to Nowy Targ Basin and D. undulatus to Masurian Lake District and Podlasie. The records of Dermestinae from the Eastern Sudety Mts. and Nowy Targ Basin are the first ones from these regions.
