This paper presents the lives and works of Mauricio Amster and Marian Rawicz, two Polish Jews born in Lviv, who became the forerunners of the publishing design in Spain. Having fought in the Spanish Civil War, they were forced to exile in Chile, where they continued their decisive and innovative work.
