The results of the research work on the phosphate rock decomposition with solutions of ammonium sulfate in sulfuric acid are presented. The main objective of the study was to determine an influence of the process parameters on the emission of fluorine compounds in the process of phosphate rock decomposition, as well as in the process of drying of the decomposition products as compared with single superphosphate. The effect of parameters of the phosphate rock decomposition process on the content of water-soluble calcium compounds and sulfates in the decomposition products has also been defined.
