The right to good name is commonly acknowledged by international declarations and documents of the Church. Its violation requires restitution. It is reasoned by Thomas Aquinas and John Duns Scotus on the grounds of justice in social relations. Detrimental effects of breach of good fame can be properly recognized in personalistic perspective. Good fame makes normal interpersonal relations possible, which – as it is underlined by personalists – are a condition for fullness of personal life and human development. Because of that its restitution is indispensable so that a person can rebuild community as its full member and grow toward God without obstacles. Tłum. Magdalena Mazur

This article presents an empirically generated typology of weblog genres based on the analysis of 322 popular Polish blogs. The analysis was informed by Carolyn Miller’s (1994) concept of genre as social action and was focused on three aspects: (1) subject of utterance or exigence; (2) author and communication; (3) genre coherence. Following genres are proposed and discussed: criticism, advice, diaries, modelling, reflection, information, filter, and fictionality.
