The aim of this article is to analyze the market potential for specialized language services comprising English courses and translation services (EN-PL and PL-EN) offered for individuals working in the field of business, law, and medicine. Based on the research, it was concluded that there exists the niche market whose representatives would be interested in consuming specialized language services, particularly those related to the field of business and law. It was also noted that the language service provider should act as a differentiated defender and value marketer offering customized services targeted at the narrow market segment which would appreciate professionalism, high quality and individual approach.

The Constitutional responsibility is the core of the contemporary state’s political systems. One of its features is personal and limited character. Among the entities subjected to the jurisdiction of the State Tribunal according to the Polish Constitution, there are state agents which are part of the collegial state organs. That is why, we can ask the questions, if their individual constitutional responsibility is possible? Is it possible, that they can be brought to account for the actions made by the collective state organs in which they are employed? To answer those questions, we will analyze the research of the authors of the Constitutional Law doctrine.

Odpowiedzialność konstytucyjna należy do kanonów rozwiązań konstytucyjnych współczesnych państw demokratycznych. Jedną z jej cech pozostaje osobisty i ograniczony podmiotowo charakter. Wśród podmiotów podległych kognicji Trybunału Stanu, zgodnie z regulacją polskiej konstytucji, znajdują się jednakowoż funkcjonariusze państwa, wchodzący w skład kolegialnych organów państwa. Stąd zasadnym jest postawienie sobie pytań o możliwość pociągnięcia ich do zindywidualizowanej w swej formie odpowiedzialności konstytucyjnej za działania podjęte z naruszeniem prawa przez kolektywny organ państwa, którego z mocy prawa integralną część stanowią, i o przedstawienie zapatrywań przedstawicieli doktryny prawa konstytucyjnego na powyższe zagadnienie.

Erast Fandorin series by Boris Akunin describes adventures of a Russian sleuth named Erast Pietrovich Fandorin who lives at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth century. The series belongs to detective story genre. The nephrite rosary, which consists of twenty-five beads, is mentioned for the first time in The Jack of Spades and plays a very significant role in most novels of the series. It is not a typical tool of religious worship or meditation, but it helps Erast Pietrovich to concentrate and to solve difficult problems. What is more, it seems to be haunted by the past. It embodies a lot of historical, legendary and spiritual energy. Being an object, a symbol and a carrier of the past, the nephrite rosary has a limited range when it comes to collective memory, because only well-educated people from the higher social classes are able to recognise the meaning of this legendary object and to perceive its importance, therefore it cannot be considered a typical lieu de memoire (place of memory), as understood by Pierre Nora. The aim of Monika Kowalska’s paper The Nephrite Rosary as a Carrier of Historical Memory in the „Erast Fandorin” series by Boris Akunin is, therefore, twofold. It analyzes the historical meaning and significance of the nephrite rosary within the eponymous series as well as presents Akunin’s inspirations and play with the worldhistory.

The article reviews the subjects of music in the field of pre-school and early school education proposed by selected universities. The characteristics of selected courses with a music profile were carried out, taking into account the number of hours devoted to their implementation, and the objectives and curriculum content included in the course cards were also discussed. Attention is paid to the components of pedagogical qualifications necessary in conducting music education classes – the teacher is the key to the proper functioning of the educational system and the future of the pupils depends on their competences, motivation and personality. Conclusions from the conducted analysis are presented in the end.

W artykule dokonano przeglądu proponowanych przez wybrane uczelnie wyższe przedmiotów o profilu muzycznym na kierunku pedagogika przedszkolna i wczesnoszkolna. Przeprowadzono charakterystykę wybranych kursów o profilu muzycznym z uwzględnieniem liczby godzin przeznaczonych na ich realizację, omówione zostały również cele i treści programowe zawarte w kartach kursów. Zwrócono uwagę na komponenty kwalifikacji pedagogicznych niezbędne w prowadzeniu zajęć umuzykalniających – nauczyciel bowiem jest kluczem do właściwego funkcjonowania systemu edukacyjnego i to od jego kompetencji, motywacji i cech osobowościowych zależy przyszłość wychowanków. W zakończeniu przedstawiono wnioski z przeprowadzonej analizy.

Functioning in a situation of change and uncertainty has become an important determinant of contemporary teachers’ condition. The article assumes the essential role of critical dispositions (especially the so-called critical orientation): courage, reflectiveness, rationality, reality, scepticism, progressive engagement, intellectual submissiveness, principle, independence, flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity, mindfulness and openness, and curiosity as mediators in the purchase of critical rationality, as well as in coping with non-obviousness of events. The qualitative analysis of essays’ content for 66 future teachers of preschool and early school education was concentrated on decoding their aspirations and plans within the process of creating the status change and on revealing by narrators their critical dispositions. Adopting a qualitative text analysis strategy allowed for capturing an in-depth, contextual view of the examined problem. Analysis of the content and form of written statements indicate significant negligence of this development area for students, which may be a derivative of macro-social, educational and personal barriers. Within the light of elaborated research material, it seems to be a matter of great importance to promote the value of critical dispositions as well as to create and apply programmes developing them during the process of preparing future teachers for their professional careers in the situation of cultural and technological changes.

Funkcjonowanie w sytuacji zmiany i niepewności stało się istotnym wyznacznikiem współczesnej kondycji nauczycieli. W artykule założono istotną rolę dyspozycji krytycznych (zwłaszcza tzw. orientacji krytycznej): odwagi, refleksyjności, racjonalności, realizmu, sceptycyzmu, progresywnego zaangażowania, intelektualnej pokory, pryncypialności, niezależności, elastyczności i tolerancji na wieloznaczność, uważności i otwartości oraz ciekawości jako pośredniczących w nabywaniu racjonalności krytycznej, a także w radzeniu sobie z nieoczywistością zdarzeń. Jakościowa analiza treści esejów 66 przyszłych nauczycielek edukacji przedszkolnej i wczesnoszkolnej koncentrowała się na odczytaniu ich planów, aspiracji i dążeń w procesie kreowania zmiany statusowej oraz na ujawnianiu w nich przez narratorki dyspozycji krytycznych. Przyjęcie jakościowej strategii analizy tekstu pozwoliło na uchwycenie pogłębionego, kontekstowego spojrzenia na badany problem. Analizy treści i formy pisemnych wypowiedzi wskazują na znaczne zaniedbanie tego obszaru rozwoju studentów, mogące być pochodną makrospołecznych, edukacyjnych i personalnych barier. W świetle opracowanego materiału badawczego istotna wydaje się popularyzacja wartości dyspozycji krytycznych oraz tworzenie i aplikowanie programów rozwijających je podczas przygotowania przyszłych nauczycieli do profesjonalnej aktywności w sytuacji zmian kulturowych i technologicznych.
