The armlet from the area of Zagajow was made from a bronze bar, circular in cross section. Two right-handed spiral discs were fixed at the ends of the armband. The whole armlet is ornamented - motifs have also been encountered on other artefacts associated mainly with the pre-Lusatian culture. The specimen from Zagajow belongs to a large group of band ornaments which occurred already towards the end of the early - Bronze epoch, and then were present in sets dated back as far as the younger Bronze epoch. The presented category of artefacts is primarily associated with the period when the Tumulus culture was spreading (horizon Koszider) and occurred in large number in complexes of the Pre-Lusatian and Trzciniec cultures, as well as of the early phase of the Lusatian culture.
