The paper introduces selected problems connected with creating and applying virtual models in teaching geometry. Advantages of VRNL language as a basic tool for constru
In the paper the methods of modelling of conical surfaces are presented. The theoretical considerations by some examples of surfaces models are completed.
The article presentsa modificationo f the so-called degenerated projection, p roposed originally by M.Palej. The projector consists of the projection plane π and the straight line p perpendicular to the plane π. The image of an arbitrary point A of space is constructed in the following way. There are two projecting rays that pass through the point A and intersect the straight line p, and include an angle 45o with p. The traces A1 and A2 of the projecting rays in the plane π form images of the point A in the considered projection.
The paper contains a short review of Internet pages devoted to descriptive geometry and pays attention to Internet’s innate educational possibilities. Addresses relevant to pages concerning descriptive geometry courses, sets of exercises, virtual models of geometrical objects written in VRML, and geometrical Java applets have been listed and shortly characterised
The paper gives basic notions connected with virtual panoramas distributed by the Internet and their short characteristics. Their advantages have been presented as well as examples of their application given.
The paper contains author's reflections on introduclng new subjea "Elements of applied computer graphic", taught with an aid of the Corel program. The problems tackled in the paper include selecting a topic, establishing asyllabus of the course, and doing exercises. The works made by students are included as example
W artykule przedstawiono anamorfozy - celowo zniekształcone rysunki, bardzo popularne w okresie baroku. Zaproponowano program komputerowy wyznaczający anamorfozy walcowe i stożkowe wielościanów.
