This article describes selected aspects of planning cross-cultural research through an interdisciplinary approach. The intention of the authors was to describe questions linked with the mutual penetration of theoretical planes stemming from the sciences of sociology and anthropology as well as various areas of psychology, and therefore to the need for a specific approach to planning studies and research methodology in the case of such questions. The authors make reference to scientific tradition connected with cross-cultural comparisons as well as methodological problems making their appearance in projects so approached.
