The subject of the article is indicating ways of expression by the lyrical subject in the idyll. The poet was inspired to write the idyll by the unfortunate events of the First Partition of Poland in the eighteenth century, and the ill health of the king. The work is composed of the following rhetorical statements: comforting, expressing sadness, accusation, turning to the deity, or expressing joy. What is more, the forced isolation of the king is shown by the lyrical subject as a suspension of communication, full of anticipation of the king’s return. This, in turn, resulted in an inability of the society to function in a normal way. The article also deals with questions important from the point of view of an editor – the problem of establishing the likely time the work was written.

"Moeris. Eclogue in other words pastoral pride: education and rest of youth extols in front of His Royal Highness Stanisław August, the King of Poland, The Grand Duke of Lithuania, and in rural rhymes a Polyarchy", this is one of three idylls by Marcin Eysymont which were offered to Stanisław August. They were published in “Zabawy Przyjemne i Pożyteczne” ["Pleasant and Useful Games"] between 1774-1776. The work is a praise of king’s activities, who was stressing the need of youth’s education and upbringing in the spirit of good citizenship. At that time it was a very important but also a very difficult issue on account of the political situation after the first partition of the country. It is the context that is very important to interpret "Moeris" – the prototype, Virgil’s ninth eclogue from where the name of the main protagonist was taken and the theme – sorrow after the loss of land, depicted with the use of pastoral topoi.

This article contains analyse comparing tittles of Chris using by the authors of The Gospel of John and the gnostic Gospel of Truth. We studied in details main tittles: Logos-Word, Son, Name, God, Lord, King and Messiah, Good Shepherd. We concluded that person of Christ has been reintroduced into a gnostic text, which trays to adapt itself to Christian tradition. The gnostic text gives the main rule of the gnostic philosophy: necessity of repairing mistake made by Plane – fulfilling absence of Fullness. We also noticed main philosophical difference between showing God. As He is positive valued in Christianity, in gnostic religion He is bad creator of matter.
