An analysis of use of SAPARD subsidies on the verge of its ending is presented. In the course of the Programme, agreements have been signed between the Małopolska Regional Division of ARiMR and 1,914 beneficiaries, out of 2,486 who submitted applications in accordance with one of the 4 measures available in the Małopolska Province, ie.: Improvement of processing and marketing of agricultural and fishery products; Investments in agricultural holdings; Development and improvement of rural infrastructure; Diversification of economic activity in rural areas. The value of realized investments amounted to 668 million PLN, and total reimbursement of expenditures was above 325 million PLN. The biggest number of applications (41%) were submitted within Measure 2 — Investments in agricultural holdings. The biggest number of investments were accomplished in Proszowice, Miechów, Limanowa and Kraków Districts.
