In this paper there is the comparison of vehicle models with an engine drive and a fuel celi drive. This is made in order to attain analysis of driving system efficiency of mentioned models. There are also shown chemical reactions, which occur at fuel cell electrodes with use of variousfuels. The tentional-current voltage charactereristics of fuel cell (AFC) are shown in the graph form. From realized analysis it appears that general efficiency of the fuel cell driving system is higher than efficiency of the driving system with an engine. In this paper there are analysed efficiency ranges of individual types of the fuel cells. Their maximum values reach above 60%. The authors also refer to some attempts of production of car s with the fuel cells. They mention their elementary models as well.

In the paper is presented six tribes of engine’s work which is charged mixture: laminar, homogenous, homogenous lean homogeneously – laminar, laminar heating the catalyst. Then was described a direct fuel injection which is applying in Mitsubishi gasoline direct-injection (GDI) engines, where were included: regulation of mixture’s composition, load’s lamination (which was showed and described) and functions of single – phase and diphase injection. The graph of overall efficiency showed us its distinct growth in a range of 750 – 2700 r.p.m Next is presented a mathematics model of mixture’s creation in combustion chamber. This is the process which were included: - mass of gas in combustion chamber - difference of pressures between fuel injection and gas pressure in combustion chamber - fuel’s evaporation. In the end the paper conclusions were drew out from problems, which were discussed.
