The paper analyses the main directions for “green” economy and sustainable development, with special attention being paid to energy efficiency, wind energy, eco-tourism, and the formation of regional recreational facilities. The paper studies the socio-economic problems of sustainable development strategies implementation by enterprises caused by an increased anthropogenic impact on the environment. It highlights the environmental problems, such as water, air and land pollution caused by urbanization, industries, agricultural runoff and improper agricultural practices. It also suggests the directions for successful realization of sustainable development among which recycling, waste management, eco-efficiency increase.

This paper analyzes the problems of formation and use of labour potential of the company. Analysis of human resources of any company is the assessment of provision of the company and its divisions by personnel as well as labour movement assessment. The main part of this process is the analysis of composition and structure of personnel, security of enterprise workers, administrative management, educational background, qualifications, professional qualifications, as well as changes in company’s personnel. The paper presents the benefits of using a valuation coefficient technique for assessing employment potential of the company, which in essence is a hybrid of cost and benefit approaches to assessment.

In this article we would like to discuss whether economics and ecology, two seemingly conflicting “eco” sciences confront or reinforce each other? First, we will try to define major environmental problems, solutions and risks. Major issues in environmental risk management – methodologies are employed by modern companies to enhance their business and make optimized decisions (environmental disasters, eco-efficiency, environmental impact of technologies and products); green advertising (past, now, future); energy production and consumption issues (optimizing energy production and energy efficiency).

The article examines the main directions, which can increase synergistic effects of ecological and economic systems in the transition to information economy and the use of information and communication technologies. It reveals the synergistic approach which investigates conditions for improvement ecological and economic systems efficiency. It shows the most effective forms of factors and the interaction of these systems. The article suggests the mechanisms of harmonization the relations according to which economic agents interact in ecological and economic systems in order to increase their effective existence and mutual interaction. The necessity of taking into account the synergistic phenomenon in making economic decisions that somehow can “soften” the action of “hard” laws by which the interaction of environmental and natural systems occurs, and improve the efficiency of their operation, which in turn would make management decisions to solving environmental and economic problems.
