On 9 to 11 September 2016 at Prešov University in Prešov held the second annual Summer School of media ethics and called the media and their role in the V4 countries. In ten WORKSHOP tutors offer view of the current ethical problems in the functioning of the media in Central Europe. Lectures and workshops were focused both on general topics such as the relationship of freedom of expression and human rights, both at the problems of specific areas of media (advertising, computer games). In several lectures and discussions reflect the stereotypical ways in which the media show the identity of various people (eg, gender identity LGBTI minorities, migrants). Worth mentioning is especially workshops of invited foreign guests. Hungarian journalist Gyorgy Kakuk, which is dedicated to reporting on migration in Europe, offers participants extremely interesting view on the so-called practical journalist. Migration crisis. Sylwia Męcfal, expert in local journalism from Uniwersytet Łódzki, interpreted the moral dilemmas of local journalists in relation to local politics. Participants under the direction of the project tried to create a successful and socially responsible local periodicals. Since the event was designed specifically for college students targeted media union, the practical aspect of the workshops was to find the possibility of ethically responsible work in the media. Among the invited lecturers from the Czech Republic figured Daniela Vajbarová, Bystričan Ivo and Jan Motal. Daniela Vajbarová of Masaryk University in Brno, addressed the issue of gender structure of the media world, which showed significant imbalance between gender and journalistic practice.
