The aim of the Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of Ministers dated 14 March 2007, establishing the Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE), is to set up a spatial data infrastructure (SDI) and to simplify access to spatial data and spatial data services in Europe. Because of the transnational aspects and the general need to coordi- nate the conditions of access, exchange and sharing of spatial information within the Community, it can be successfully achieved only at the Community level. Each Member State is obliged to implement INSPIRE. In the Federal Republic of Germany, the implementation procedure has to take place both at the federation and the Federal States level. Thus, good coordination of work and cooperation between the federation, the Federal States and municipalities is essential. The federation and each Federal State are responsible for the implementation of INSPIRE with regards to its own public authorities. This paper presents works on the Germans' SDI (GDI-DE), the implementation of the INSPIRE-Directive in the Federal Republic of Germany, on the federation and the Federal States level, especially on the acts implementing the INSPIRE-Directive at both levels.

The aim of investigations was to understand the effect of application date (autumn and spring) of graminicides and their mixtures with adjuvant on efficacy of Elymus repens control and residue level in soil. Field experiments were carried out during 2007–2009 on arable field near Wrocław. Herbicides for E. repens control in winter oilseed rape (containing active substances such as: quizalofop-P-ethyl and fluazifop-P-buthyl) were applied alone at recommended dose and at reduced dose with adjuvant Atpolan Bio 80 EC, post emergence in the autumn and comparatively in the spring. In the experiments efficacy of E. repens control – per cent of weed control was evaluated and yield from each plot was calculated. Samples of soil were taken at harvest. All samples were analysed (herbicide residues) using the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with UV detection and GLC with MS detection. The phytotoxic effects of all used herbicides (alone and with adjuvant) on winter oilseed rape were not observed. Graminicides used in the autumn controlled E. repens in 94–99% and applied in the spring in 93–99%. The yield obtained from the herbicide objects (autumn and spring applications) was statistically higher in comparison with untreated objects. At the harvest time, residues of quizalofop amounted to: for autumn application 0.0031–0.0064 mg/kg, for spring application 0.0050–0.0098 mg/kg. Fluazifop residues amounted to: 0.0052–0.0108 and 0.0096–0.0194 mg/kg respectively. The residue active substances of herbicides, after spring application were higher than determined after autumn application. Application of herbicides with adjuvant allowed to reduce a herbicide dose (without lost of weed control efficacy) and residue level in the oil.

W latach 2003-2005 w IUNG-PIB we Wrocławiu prowadzono doświadczenia ze zwalczaniem odpornych chwastów dwuliściennych na trwałych użytkach zielonych. Zaobserwowano dużą skuteczność zwalczania Taraxacum officinale, Cirsium arvense i Achillea milefolium po zastosowaniu herbicydu Fernando 225 EC w dawce 4 l*ha-1. Starane 250 EC w dawce 1,2 lxha-1 słabiej działał na Cirsium arvense i Achillea milefolium. 4 tygodnie po zabiegu w roślinach traw wykrywano pozostałości fluroksypyru na poziomie 0,002-0,022 mg*kg-1 i chlopyralidu na poziomie 0,0002-0,012 mg*kg-1. Pozostałości w chwastach zwłaszcza Cirsium arvense były wyższe.

The aim of investigations, carried out in the 2003-2005, was evaluation of herbicide efficacy and their residues in grasses. Herbicide Fernando 225 EC applied in the rate of 4 l*ha-1 good controlled Taraxacum officinale, Cirsium arvense and Achillea milefolium. Herbicide Starane 250 EC applied in the rate of 1,2 l*ha-1 weakly eliminated Cirsium arvense and Achillea milefolium. Four weeks after treatment, samples of grasses and weeds were taken to analysis. Using the chromatography methods residue of herbicides were determined. In grasses residue of fluroxypyr amounted 0,002 - 0,022 mg*kg-1 and residue of clopyralid did not exceed 0,012 mg*kg-1. Residue determined in weeds (especially Cirsium arvense) were significantly higher than in grasses.

Doświadczenia przeprowadzono w latach 2003-2005. Oceniano różne dawki herbicydów zawierających w swoim składzie substancję aktywną glifosat. Herbicydy aplikowano wiosną, w dawkach 720, 1440 i 2160 g*ha-1 (s. a. glifosatu). Wyższa dawka glifosatu bardzo dobrze eliminowała następujące gatunki: Alopecurus pratensis, Arhenatherum elatius, Dactylis glomerata, Poa pratensis, Artemisia vulgaris, Cirsium arvense, Daucus carota, Galium molugo, Glechoma hederaceum, Plantago spp., Ranunculus arvensis, Urtica dioica, Veronica spp., Achillea millefolium, Arctium minus, Heracleum sphondylium, Taraxacum officinale. Natomiast Roundup 360 SL w dawce 6,0 l*ha-1 (Standard I) bardzo dobrze zwalczał zarówno gatunki jednoliścienne (trawy) jak również chwasty wieloletnie dwuliścienne.

The experiment was carried out in 2003-2005. There was tested herbicides including glyphosate as a active substans. It was used on permanent grassland with high denisty of perennial weeds. The herbicides was applied in spring at dose 720, 1440 and 2160 g*ha-1 active substans (glyphosate). The glyphosate, at the high dose, efficiently controled Alopecurus pratensis, Arhenatherum elatius, Dactylis glomerata, Poa pratensis and broad leaves weeds annual and perennial (Artemisia vulgaris, Cirsium arvense, Daucus carota, Galium molugo, Glechoma hederaceum, Plantago spp., Ranunculus arvensis, Urtica dioica, Veronica spp., Achillea millefolium, Arctium minus, Heracleum sphondylium, Taraxacum officinale. Standard I herbicide Roundup 360 SL in the rate of 6,0 l*ha-1 eliminated grasses and majority broad-leaveds weeds.

In 2008 and 2009 extremely different water conditions for the months April and June, contributed to the occurrence of differences in the size of total yield and tuber yield of individual fractions. It was found a considerable reduction in effectiveness of the herbicide Proponit 720 EC in 2009 compared to the previous season. As a consequence a strong secondary weed infestation was stated.
