The influence of the order-disorder structural transition on the magnetic and magneto-optical properties of Fe-Al and Co-Al alloy filme has been investigated. The disordered states in the alliy films were prepared by vapour qoenching deposition on glass substarates cooled by liquid nitrogen. The experimental study of the magneto-opical properties of the ordered and disordered Fe0.52 Al0.48 and Co0.62 Al0.38 alloy films has been carried out in 1.05÷5.0 eV energy range at room temperature. The infuence of the order-disorder strucural transition on the magnetic and magneto-optical properties was discussed using the effective medium approximation and the strucural defect approach.
