The scientific goal of this article was to confirm the thesis that efficient complaint management can be one the company’s competitive advantage elements of in the sphere of logistic customer service. The theoretical part of the article presents basic foundations related to complaint management process as an important element of post-trade sales process in customer service. The research part presents an example of the implementation of efficient assumptions of the complaint management process on the example of a construction industry manufacturing company. Guidelines for the design and implementation of an effective and efficient complaint handling process are presented. An example of process analysis is done using appropriate quality tools.

Foresight method is gaining support around the world as a powerful tool that creates common views on future development strategies. It is characterized by a unique feature, which is the maximum participation of stakeholders and experts. The paper presents examples of the results of research carried out based upon the expert methods of foresight procedures. Special attention was paid to different methods of identification and involvement of experts in implementing the projects. The methodology of foresight projects was brought closer, with particular emphasis on those methods which are based on expert knowledge - such as the Delphi technique, panel discussion, brainstorming, STEEP and SWOT analysis methods, public consultation and the scenarios formulation. The result of foresight exploration based on knowledge of experts is the formation of a wide vision of the future development of economy and technology, which helps to make decisions on an effective, long-term strategy of the government, enterprises and scientific institutions. Procesy transportowe, będące zasadniczym procesem zapewniającym fizyczne zasilanie łańcucha dostaw, powinny być przedmiotem szczegółowej analizy. Jednym z możliwych parametrów analizy jest efektywność procesów. Niniejsze opracowanie miało na celu ustalenie zależności pomiędzy masą własną użytych środków transportu, a wskaźnikami efektywności floty pojazdów przedsiębiorstwa transportowego. W części teoretycznej przedstawiono zagadnienie efektywności procesów logistycznych. W części badawczej dokonano analizy porównawczej naczep o lekkiej konstrukcji różnych producentów. Analiza studium przypadku polegała na zebraniu danych dotyczących rocznego przejazdu dziesięciu typowych zestawów drogowych, wykorzystujących ciągniki siodłowe i standardowe naczepy kurtynowe. Obliczenia rzeczywistych wskaźników ładowności porównano z hipotetycznymi, które uzyskałoby przedsiębiorstwo, gdyby używane były naczepy o lekkiej zabudowie. W rezultacie analizy podjęto próbę oszacowania zysku dodatkowego, wynikającego z możliwości przewiezienia dodatkowych kilogramów ładunku.

Transport processes, being an essential process ensuring the physical flow of the supply chain, should be subject of a detailed analysis. Efficiency of processes is one of such evaluation parameters. The paper presents relationship between the mass of used means of transport and efficiency indicator of vehicle fleet of transport company. The theoretical part presents the issue of the efficiency of logistics processes. In the research part, a comparative analysis of trailers with light construction from different manufacturers was made. Case study analysis consisted of collecting data on the annual travel of ten typical road sets, using tractor units and standard curtain semitrailers. Calculations of actual capacity indicators obtained were compared with a hypothetical ones if semi-trailers for light construction were used. As a result of the analysis, an attempt was made to estimate the additional profit resulting from the possibility of transporting additional kilograms of cargo.
