Were presented effects of examinations of the expert estimation spliced joints of the ends of worsted woolen yarns. To the estimation of non-measurable properties of spliced joints of yarn ends were offered the expert method of estimation of splicing form of fibers in the joint. With regard to impossibility of measurement of the form of splicing fibers in the joint, the connections were judging by means of patterns.

In this paper, influence of the joining technique of ends on breakage and the appearance of weaving yarns during technological processes after winding was described. A process of twisting, sizing, warping and weaving was being analyzed. They stated that in the straight majority of processes knotted connections were causing bigger breakage of yarn and negatively influence for it appearance.

They made the technological identification of the working parameters of the splicing Jointair device type of 927L of the MESDAN company. The conducted identification allowed for selection of the steering of the splicing device enabling to make technologically useful con-nections. They stated that steering of length of yarn ends subjected to the join and the time of splicing were factors affecting for strength properties of Sirospun yarns. In the present article they decided to verify the proposed statistical model. The verification of introduced model will enable to estimate the technological usefulness. Technologically useful connections will be subjected to endurance examinations.

Woodcutter profession is often associated with timber harvesting in forest management. Due to the working conditions and the specific nature of the profession of this work is included in the group competition at increased risk of accidents and occupational diseases formation. Felling of timber in forest areas is associated with the pulling down and the choice assortment of different types of trees. The main duties of the employee in the course of the wood-gaining include: – maintenance and operation of machinery and equipment, – analysis of the breeding and conservation of the forest, – marking workspaces to be felled, – felling and felling of trees (Tomczak A., Jelonek T., Grzywiński W., 2012). The basic tool in the work with pruning (felling, thinning early, thinning late, green-wood), and in the work related to the processing of raw wood into useful assortments (limbing, bucking) is a petrol chain saw together with chainsaw wood. The article presents a description of protective clothing intended for employees of the Forest Service.
