The aim of this article is to show general sense of new social movement “Occupy”. The particular attention is given to the new alterglobalism vision of today’s financial and economic crisis. In this context, the article provides the information about “Occupy” movement arguments against neoliberal capitalism, especially in the United States of America. The article focuses on the following issues: movement origin, its symbolic and a media message, activity and ideological profile. This paper also emphasizes the fact that “Occupy” movement is a leftist answer to the right wing oriented “Tea Party”.
