Artykuł nawiązuje do koncepcji trójjedni: rodzina – szkoła – instytucje społeczne (przedstawianej przez Profesora Andrzeja M. de Tchorzewskiego). Podstawowe wątki rozważań dotyczą m.in. utopii, różnych sposobów rozumienia tego pojęcia, a także utopijnego charakteru koncepcji trójjedni. Koncepcja ta zderza się z wieloma zjawiskami i procesami, które powodują dekonstrukcję lub rekonstrukcję poszczególnych jej części składowych (rodziny, szkoły, instytucji społecznych). Ponadto współczesne społeczeństwa mierzą się – z większym lub mniejszym powodzeniem – z poważnymi problemami, które dotyczą także kształcenia i wychowania, a więc również wspomnianej trójjedni. Edukacja – także zatem owa trójjednia – znajduje się między utopią i nieutopijnym światem. Na tym tle formułowane są pytania i próby odpowiedzi, co robić, aby przybliżać się do świata przyjaznego ludziom (w uproszczeniu – utopijnego). To również zachęta do refleksji, co uwzględnić w priorytetach edukacyjnych.

The article refers to a threefold concept: family – school – social institutions (as presented by Professor Andrzej M. de Tchorzewski). The basic considerations relate, for example, to utopia and different ways of understanding of this concept, as well as the utopian nature of the concept of triunity itself. This concept collides with many phenomena and processes that cause the deconstruction or reconstruction of its individual components (families, schools, social institutions). In addition, contemporary societies are faced – with greater or lesser success – with serious problems that also concern education and upbringing, and thus also the aforementioned triunity. Education – which is also involved in this triunity – is located between a utopia and real world. Against this background, questions and answers are formulated, something which should be done in order to make more a people-friendly world (simplifying – more utopian). It is also an invitation for reflection on what must be considered as priorities in the educational process.

Multiculturalism is eternal phenomenon, which exists in the whole world. It brings many positive results, but may also be the cause or pretext of conflicts, wars, tragedies. Multiculturaliral education and above all intercultural education is the attempt to create multicultural world, in which people live in friendship and cooperate creating the conditions towards satisfying course of living. The popularization of ideas and practice of intercultural education depends on the inclusion of various kinds of multiculturalism and on taking advantage of the chances brought by globalisation. The article presents the main types of multiculturalism and proeducational chances related to some of the existing ways of globalisation. On this background, different strategies of acting, which are intercultural education friendly, are presented.
