Podstawowym pojęciem niniejszego artykułu jest odpowiedzialność ujmowana w perspektywie ekologicznej. W obliczu narastającego kryzysu ekologicznego kategoria odpowiedzialności nabiera fundamentalnego znaczenia. Artykuł analizuje podstawowe rozumienia odpowiedzialności w kontekście problematyki ochroniarskiej. Przedmiotem refleksji uczyniono zagadnienie warunków odpowiedzialności, zasobów odpowiedzialności, obszarów odpowiedzialności, odpowiedzialności za stan rzeczy, a przede wszystkim odpowiedzialności lokalnej i globalnej (planetarnej). Pojęcie i wartość odpowiedzialności ujęte zostały w ścisłym związku z pojęciem wartości solidarności oraz kategorią wykluczenia ekologicznego.

The basic idea of this article is the ecological perspective of the notion of responsibility. Especially nowadays, in the times of ecological crisis this concept is endowed with essential importance. The paper analyzes the basic meanings of responsibility in the context of environmental concerns. It focuses on the requirements of responsibility, the resources and areas of responsibility, on the responsibility for the state of affairs, andf above all on the local and global (planetary) responsibility. The notion and the value of responsibility have been grasped in a close connection with the notion of the value of solidarity and the category of ecological exclusion.

The basic issue addressed in this paper is responsibility conceived in the perspective of global responsibility and, within its framework, responsibility for future generations. In the face of growing threats and crisis phenomena the category of responsibility has gained a fundamental meaning. Responsibility may be considered in the context of the past and presence, but it should also be analyzed as referring to the future. The paper will elucidate main understanding of responsibility; the notion and value of responsibility will be analyzed in close relation to the notions and values of solidarity, justice, and community thinking and action.

This study presents the ethical ideas of Stefan Pawlicki, Marian Morawski and Aleksander Skórski. The first two mentioned as the representatives of the catholic thought, emphasized the connection between ethics and religion. The third one promoted the idea of the scientific metaphysics and pointed out at the tasks of the ethics in the moral education of the society.

Artykuł omawia etyczne idee Stefana Pawlickiego, Mariana Morawskiego i Aleksandra Skórskiego. Dwaj pierwsi są reprezentantami myśli katolickiej analizującymi związki religii z katolicyzmem. Trzeci opowiada się za ideą naukowej metafizyki jako podstawy moralnej edukacji społeczeństwa.
