W pracy przedstawiono analizę rozkładu grubości ścianek w różnych przekrojach czwórników równo- oraz równoprzelotowych rozprężonych hydromechanicznie z miedzi. Proces ten polega na osiowym spęczaniu odcinka rury wewnątrz dzielonych półmatryc oraz równoczesnym działaniu ciśnienia cieczy wewnątrz. Porównano i wykazano zgodność wyników modelowania numerycznego z rezultatami doświadczalnymi.

In the paper the analysis of variations of wall thickness in different sections of hydromechanically bulged copper cross-joints has been presented. The process consists in placing a tube segment in a die-cavity, pouring some liquid over it and sealing the faces. As a result the liquid pressure rises and the pipe is upset. The experimental results are in very good agreement with the results of numerical simulation.

Microbial colonisation of chronic venous ulcers and synergism between bacterial species slow down the healing process. The study aimed at performing qualitative analysis of microbial flora in venous leg ulcers treated with platelet rich plasma (PRP). Twenty two women and twelve men aged 47–90 years were treated with PRP at our department between 2012 and 2015. Ulcer cultures collected before and after PRP therapy yielded 83 and 110 microbial isolates, respectively, of Gram positive, Gram negative bacteria and candida. Pseudomonas aueruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus were the most common pre-and post-treatment isolates. PRP therapy and increased the variety of microbial flora.
