The paper will present weaknesses of a management process being diagnosed in a transport company and the implementation of logistic instruments for the purposes of ma king improvements and showing an aspiration to effectively manage a company. This topic is significant in respect of socially general benefits as well as from the enterprise's point of view. Application of logistic tools presented in the paper to transport companies affects reduction of negative effects of transport operations, completion of actions targeting a balanced growth resulting in enhanced effectiveness of a transport system in the entire supply chain. Transport is an indispensable element of logistic systems. Its organisation and effective functioning affect smoothness of logistic chains.

The number of authorised and unauthorised car service stations in Poland increases as a result of the continuous increase in the number of cars. Car owners would like to obtain a high-quality but cheap car service. In this paper some logistic aspects of car service in authorised car service stations are presented, based on a sample of 204 cars. The data collected, which cover a period of three months, are analysed with the aim to identify opportunities for improving the functioning of car service stations from a technical and organisational point of view.

Modern computer simulation tools are based on different mathematical models. The simplest of these models are rank as rigid computational methods like statistics or probability mathematics. To flexible, more complex computational methods we can classify artificial neural systems, genetic algorithm or fuzzy sets. Without doubt usage of this second group of models are becoming more universal. They are classified as methods of artificial intelligence. With regard to their mechanisms of teaching, neural systems are used for the purpose of optimization. They allow to describe different non-linear structure of the data and to classify them in the appropriate way. Statistic methods do not show optimum results in the non-linear spaces and spaces that are dimensionally complex. Agent methods that are used in the intelligent systems make possible to precisely simulate reality. Reality with huge amount of objects that are on the different level of abstraction. They are used for example in rout planning by means of GPS system, in the planning different logistic processes, in the economics, in the forecasting of meteorological phenomenons etc. Common feature of all forecasting methods are mistakes connected with discrepancy of simulation results and real value. In the literature there is no researches in mentioned discipline. Results of optimization presented in the article are obtained using agent systems. These results refer to finding the shortest way to the defined extreme by studying level of route complexity (multiple, amount of extremes), time of studying, mistakes of defining appropriate extreme. To authenticate results in case of different tools to simulation, researches have been conducted with five different simulation computer programs.

This paper will illustrate the impact of telematics tools on safety of participants in road traffic which is vital. The latest technology and ideas enable the construction of safe roads. The discussion in Poland about safety on roads is significant as this country has one of the highest rates of road accidents in the European Union. The paper considers safety issues of participants in road traffic and the influence of road infrastructure on safety as well as the use of telematics tools for improving safety. The analyses will make use of the data provided by the literature on safety in Europe, Poland and Lower Silesia which will illustrate the scale of the problem and indicate possible solutions and the use of telematics technologies. The research is based on the two cities: Wałbrzych i Toruń.

One of the main causes of road accidents in Poland is the bad technical condition of many cars. The increasing number of cars, the bad state of roads, car owners trying to reduce car repair costs and imperfect legal regulations concerning technical control of cars have as a consequence that there are many dangerous cars on the road with drivers who can lose control of their vehicles any time. In this paper the results of analysis of data concerning car service and suggestions for imporovement from the point of view of clients and car service stations are presented.

The logistics of the car and spare parts’ production is an essential problem of contemporary economy. The widely understood methods of data optimalization, production management, transport and data bases - are the basis of attaining company profits. The adequate systems managing production, i.e. MRP , MRP II , enriched by artificial intelligence methods, do assist production processes very well. The classic optimalization methods do not, however, allow the full analysis of imprecise and insufficient data. Unfortunately, the above methods signalling the future of production management systems are not widely used and their application requires the use of high class specialists, having the knowledge and being able to implement the intelligent modules, and the cells in which they can be applied so they can fully optimalize, integrating all fragments of logistical chain.

In this paper we show method of connection of expert system and RFID technology. In first part we can find definition of the RFID and the expert system. Next part includes description of fusion of two analysed methods over traffic of patient in hospital, first recognition, through mainly book, receive and confirmation on ward, recognition and treatment patient to book out hospital. In following article we prove that hybrid connection of expert system and RFID technology allows optimize traffic of patient over time of circulation of information between parameter of traffic patient and minimize mistakes of hospital’s personal date. At the end we present results of experiments based on statistical analysis which show the goal of author’s method.

The article shows supply planning model with using soft methods of calculation. Supplies prediction is rather stochastic process than deterministic one. The changing market demand influences by different factors which can be difficult to predict cause big problems in prognostic procedures. Applying solution based on fuzzy set cause that conclusions based on uncertain or imprecision data gives better solutions than statistics method (in the meaning of proper prognosis). In this work it has been shown sequential model of supply planning, which takes into account some predetermined trajectory of former observations. Very important element of such a model is sensitivity on season changes and big adaptation to new emerged predetermined trend changes. In the following part of the work it has been shown the results of investigations based on experimental data, which tried out efficacy of proposed prognosis (together with estimation error).

In this publication there are the description of logistic product and its system's elements presented. There are also logistic subsystems and their elements separated which are presented in the table. On the basis of the conception of logistic product and logistic elements there is the definition of the logistic system created. Relating to the definitions presented there is shown, that the logistic system operates on three levels (in three structures): spatial, organisational and informational, and there is the sparial structure described.

In this paper there is a description of organisation structure of a company and its information system presented. in the organisation structure there were three drafts of logistic management of a company districted. On the organisational level of a company there is the logistics in a company planned and this is simultaneously the starting point for the logistics understood as a tool of the management of a suplly chain which aim is to coordinate the functions of each element within the framework of three functions of the management: operational, financial and marketing. there were also the need of changes presented which should be implemented by firms in the field of their functioning. Neglecting such factors as innovations in management leads to the situation when firms are not interesting partners for cooperation both for customers and suppliers.

Depending on the type of vehicle, its technical parameters as well as the preferred make - there are different conditions for vehicle usage, which subsequently influence the warranty check-ups, whether it be periodic or not obligatory. In the article, using the example of the Renault make as well as the comparison with Opel make, there was shown the scope and the tasks for technical check-ups. In addition, there was also shown the price comparison at specific times of technical check-ups and additional servicing steps during three-year vehicle usage.
