This aim of this publication is presentation of wigs' features in the period from the antique till present times. A wig is defined as a head cover made of hair or grass. Initially, it was worn in the antiquity only to make someone seem more dangerous, powerful. Wig is a composition of artificial hairs - human, horse or synthetic threads - worn on head due to esthetical or cultural reasons. The aim of this cycle is presentation of chosen textile products in details. Sometimes they are forgotten and sometimes are not associated with textiles though they present a piece of ingenious textile art.

W okresie dynamicznego rozwoju rolnictwa ekologicznego coraz wyraźniej zarysowuje się potrzeba badań nad tym systemem gospodarowania. W Polsce powierzchnia gospodarstw ekologicznych przekroczyła ostatnio 1% użytków rolnych. Jednak przy zachowaniu obecnego tempa rozwoju istnieje szansa, że niedługo możliwe będzie zwiększenie powierzchni gospodarstw ekologicznych do poziomu istniejącego już w innych krajach europejskich. Polska jako kraj o dość dobrych walorach rolniczej przestrzeni produkcyjnej oraz bezcennym, czystym środowisku ma szansę stać się jednym z największych producentów żywności ekologicznej w Unii Europejskiej. Do niedawna słaba, w powszechnym mniemaniu, strona polskiego rolnictwa, jaką była niska wydajność produkcji, może stać się jego szansą. Ekologicznie czyste składniki rolniczej przestrzeni produkcyjnej, będące rzadkością na terenie krajów tzw. "starej" Unii Europejskiej, na Podkarpaciu często dominują. Wyniki badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych wśród rolników ekologicznych i konwencjonalnych, wskazują na możliwości rozwoju rolnictwa ekologicznego na terenie województwa podkarpackiego. Będzie to możliwe dzięki coraz większej świadomości konsumenta, wykorzystaniu środków pomocowych Unii Europejskiej dla rolnictwa oraz umiejętnemu odnalezieniu się na ciągle jeszcze dla polskich rolników nowym rynku unijnym.

In times of rapid development of organic farming there is a need to investigate how the situation within is changing. In Poland, area of organic farming reached already 1%. If maintaining this rate of increase Poland soon will be able to reach average European Union share in total organic farmland. Particularly podkarpackie voivodeship is a region of Poland with relatively good condition for agriculture production and priceless values of pure, natural environment. In coming future Polish agriculture will face the chance to become one of the largest suppliers of organic food in Europe. Up to recent times, weak points (in common opinion) of farming system turned into advantages. Comparatively extensive agriculture is the reason why natural environment survived in such good condition. Today Podkarpacie region is abundant in biodiversity, which is in short in majority European countries. That's a good forecast to the future of organic agriculture in the Podkarpacie region. The results of this thesis reveal the possibility of development of organic farming in podkarpackie voivodeship. Rising consumer awareness and taking advantages of subsidies and skilled dealing with market reality is expected as a chance for farmers. Above manners of development combined together may dynamise mutual beneficial cooperation between mankind and nature.
