The study was conducted with 20 women. The clinical researches ultrasound and histological examinations were performed. In the observation period Ca /Mg index in urine was tested. 45 % of patients had lower and 35 % of them had a higher coefficient than the reference range. The levels of magnesium and calcium tested in urin in the group of ill women were lower than in the group of the healthy women (35% for magnesium and 25 %for calcium)
In a group of sound females in the age from 21 - 40 years and in the adolescents 16 - 20 years hair analysis was conducted. In the younger group magnesium and zinc levels were higher than the Polish reference values (IEK- WAT-Warsaw). The levels of calcium and zinc with pregriant females were higher and the level of copper was lower than the norm. No deviations were found with adnimis- trative workers.
A study was conducted on a group of 30 women in the age of 21-40 years suffering from vegetative neurosis. It was stated a lower level of magnesium and higher one of lead than in the control group. It was ascertained the mean correlation between calcium and magnesium levels (r = + 0,5) and the low negative correlation between the levels of magnesium and lead (r = - 0,22).
