Release of bound water from silt rocks causes abnormal pressure zone generation and oil expulsion from source rocks. Under condition of quick subsidence and large silt layer thickness, with influence of unbalanced overburden gravity and tectonic forces, semi-liquid silt mass with abnormal pressure zone may easily moved and create diapir structures. The mass carries hydrocarbones, and oil deposits may be created within porous layers. There arc also possible non-structural oil deposits within thermally transformed shale beds (secondary fisured porosity as the result of bound water release).
