In the introductory section, the article describes the problem with a clear definition of the political correctness. It is shows the split into two ways of presenting the subject. Then the main theme of Jonathan Haid’s theory of moral foundations is presented. At the next stage are analyzed common elements of the idea of political correctness and the philosophy of Jean Jacques Rousseau, the Frankfurt school and Marxist culture.

W części wstępnej artykuł pokrótce zarysowuje problem z jednoznaczną definicją pojęcia „poprawność polityczna”. Wskazany zostaje podział na dwa podstawowe sposoby ujmowania tematu. Następnie zaprezentowane zostaje osadzenie głównego zagadnienia w teorii fundamentów moralnych według Jonathana Haidta. Na dalszym etapie przeanalizowane zostają elementy wspólne idei politycznej poprawności oraz filozofii Jean-Jacquesa Rousseau, szkoły frankfurckiej oraz marksizmu kulturowego.

Political correctness is a set of techniques whose task is to counteract foreclosure and discrimination based on distinctiveness. The aim of the analysis of the phenomenon is to specify and characterize these mechanisms. Political correctness study also reveals that this phenomenon is subjected to ideologies. Understanding the source of this process is facilitated by the theory of the moral foundations of Jonathan Haidt. It is about innate and acquired elements of human morality, which affect the perception of reality and the valuation of its basic elements.
