The main aim of work is qualification of what form of assessment with geography is they be applied at schools peaceably with educational right as well as seeking new valid after introduction of next program basis. Proposals of different effective forms of assessment in range of geography in work were introduced also.

Jednym z najważniejszych zadań współczesnej szkoły jest odpowiednie wychowanie i przygotowanie uczniów do życia we współczesnym świecie. Obowiązek realizacji tego zadania spoczywa na każdym nauczycielu, ale niewątpliwie istotną rolę odgrywa nauczyciel geografii czy przyrody, który naucza o własnej ojczyźnie. W artykule dokonano zestawienia celów edukacyjnych dotyczących aspektów wychowawczych zapisanych w Podstawie programowej kształcenia ogólnego. Zwrócono uwagę na edukację patriotyczną. Określono rolę nauczyciela geografii w realizacji treści wychowawczych.

Providing good education and preparing students for living in the contemporary world is one of the most important tasks of the contemporary school. This obligation rests on every teacher but the teachers of geography or nature who teach topics about their own homeland undoubtedly have a special role to play. The paper provides a summary of educational goals concerning the educational and formation attitudes which are contained in the core curriculum for general education, with a special emphasis on patriotic education. In addition to that, the role of the teacher in the attainment of the teaching content has been defined.
